We got a dog!

We got a puppy yesterday. Voltamier wanted to go by the Humane Society to let child play with dogs and burn some energy before we ran a few errands. Now we have a dog. Go figure. I had two cats (Maserati and Comet) when we met and I/we adopted Polo (another cat) not long after we met. I'm a cat person. We've had the pup almost 24 hours now and have realized we might need a new name for him. The shelter named him Bacon, which is a cute name but we're having difficulty with the child knowing the difference between the dog and our usual breakfast food. And Volt accidentally called the dog Biscuit and Pumpkin earlier. (Child's favorite book is about a puppy named Biscuit who goes to the pumpkin patch.)

Does anyone want to participate in naming the little guy? I'm currently leaning towards Falafel, but Volt vetoed that one.

He is (supposedly) a Bernese Mountain Dog mix. Beautiful crystal blue eyes.

If your going to stick with food names maybe Chutney or even Mango Chutney.
Or if you end up getting closer to normal I'd name him Harry or Dave.

We settled on Nano for the name. It came down to that or Yoshi and he is not a green dinosaur with a saddle.

Volt also didn't like the other names I suggested: Wrigley, Willie, and Satchel. Not surprising though since I'm the baseball fan of the family.
